Get to Know Our Pastor
Hi, I’m the pastor of our church. I came to Mayodan Moravian in April of 2007. I’ve been a Moravian pastor since 1978, and I continue to cherish the opportunitues to work with people as they grow closer to each other and to our Savior. It’s a joy to work with parents when their infants and toddlers are baptized. The fun continues as I have opportunities to interact with these children as they move through the stages of childhood and adolescence. My time with those who have followed Christ for many decades is no less rewarding as they share stories of God’s faithfulness to them through the years.
It’s important to keep in mind that a church is not so much a community organization as it is an organized community–a community of people moving along similar paths of a deepening faith in Jesus Christ. My joy is in helping people find spiritual nurture through the relationships they find here. God uses those relationships to bring us closer to Himself.
